Something & Nothing joined us in April 2024 and make award winning Sodas made with natural ingredients & award winning Spritz (4%) blended with quality French wine or Japanese Sake. The products are totally vegan and contain no added sugar.
Something & Nothing, sought our support to determine whether the keywords "Flavoured Sparkling Water" or "Premium Soda" would achieve a higher click-through rate (CTR) from the search page on Amazon.
To address this challenge, we designed and executed an A/B split test over two weeks. Using Amazon’s ‘Manage Your Experiments’ we directed half of the search traffic to product listings using the title "Flavoured Sparkling Water" and the other half to listings with the title "Premium Soda." This approach allowed us to measure and compare the performance of each keyword in terms of CTR.
The A/B test, conducted from May16, 2024, to May 30, 2024, yielded marginal results. Across the three ASINs tested, there was an average 2% higher CTR for the term "Premium Soda." There was also over 50% probability that this version was better. While the CTR difference might seem small, even marginal improvements across multiple areas can significantly impact overall sales performance.
Consequently, the client decided to retain the original title, "Flavoured Sparkling Water," but appreciated the insights gained from testing the hypothesis. This process underscores our commitment to continuously seeking new ways to optimise and test strategies to propel sales and discover new avenues for success.
